LeanBet unveils the first session of the Industrial Makers course in the breathtaking setting of the "White City", Belgrade.
LeanBet is in Belgrade from 25th to 28th of April 2024 with the first session of Industrial Makers, the new experiential course on operations management completely in english with simultaneos translation in Italian (for some sessions).
The event will last four days and three nights. Departure is on Thursday, April 25th from the following locations:
5.00am Bologna (Fiera area, Via Stalingrad - car park)
6.30am Padua (Padua East Motorway Exit, padua East Parking is located about 500 meters from Sheraton)
7.50am Palmanova (Motorway Exit)
We expect to arrive at the hotel in Belgrade at 8.00pm, in time for dinner.
On Friday, April 26th, the Industrial Makers session is from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Our speaker is Xavier Rapenne, previously Operations Director at Electrolux Professional France.
In this session, which will be in English with simultaneous translation in Italian, we take a look at the strategic foundations of operations management, as well as market dynamics and the aspects that allowed many companies to reach efficiency and effectiveness at a much higher level than the European average. From the definition of corporate strategy to Operations Management in all its elements, this session lays the foundations for understanding how each company can reach operational excellence. In addition to being a moment of professional training, this event is also an opportunity for Italian and international managers to expand their network of contacts, thanks to the participation of prominent figures from various successful Serbian and international companies.
In the evening of April 26th, we have planned a leisurely stroll through this charming city, where you can visit several stilt-shaped clubs that rise above the Danube. In fact, Belgrade offers a wide range of entertainment: from the university bars to characteristic restaurants in the Bohemian quarter, known as "The Montmartre of Belgrade" due to the nineteenth century style cobblestone alleys.
On Saturday, April 27th we visit the spectacular Serbian hinterland with cultural insights and guided tours. The first stop is Krusedol Monastery, an Orthodox monastery on the edge of the Fruska Gora National Park. We then move on to Sremski Karloc, a village located on the banks of the Danube, the spiritual and cultural cradle of Serbia. Our next stop is the Petrovaradin Fortress and finally we visit Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, also called "The Athens of Serbia". We should be back at the hotel at around 5.00pm.
On April 28th we start our return trip to Palmanova, Padua and Bologna at 7.00am and arrive in the late evening.
